Stock Futures Fall as Investors Await Fed Meeting This Week

U.S. stock futures fell to kick off the trading week, as investors looked ahead to the Federal Reserve’s interest-rate decision Wednesday and fretted about the health of the U.S. economy.

Futures tied to the S&P 500 fell 1.1% Monday, on pace to extend the benchmark index’s losses into a third consecutive session. Contracts tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 1%, while those tied to the tech-focused Nasdaq-100 dropped 1.1%.
