Stock Futures Fall on Inflation Data

U.S. stock futures fell Thursday after data showed a key measure of inflation accelerating, strengthening expectations for continued large interest-rate increases from the Federal Reserve.

Futures for the S&P 500 declined 2%. Contracts for the tech-focused Nasdaq-100 dropped 2.9% and futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1.5%.
